Syntorial Demo Crashing!

I've just downloaded the syntorial demo and it keeps crashing. Sometimes it doesn't open and I have to try opening it multiple times before it pops up. And the crashes just happen at random. During a video, challenge or anything, it'll crash. I've tried a clean-install and re-booting my system. I saw that hot fix zip file in the crash section but I only have the demo version at the moment so, that did not apply to it.

I am not able to try the program out properly because of this. I've only been able to go through the first section and I loved it but I need to know if the program will work properly before I eventually decide to buy the full thing.

I've emailed over the new version. This should fix the crash issue.

Thanks for the info and screenshot. We're currently updating the internal audio engine on the Windows version. A few others experienced intermittent issues like you, which we believe this is related to. We'll get this done ASAP, and I'll email you directly with the new version. Talk soon.

Sorry for the issue. Two questions:

  1. Mac or Windows?

  2. Open the About window, take a screenshot, and post it. To open the About Window:

    • Mac: Click the "Syntorial" menu at the top left of your screen and select "About Syntorial"
    • Windows: Click the "Help" menu at the top of the app and select "About Syntorial"
