Suggestion for Introduction Chapter

Hi,
Idea:
Syntorial jumps right into shaping sounds.
However, I have been equally interested in first understanding what sound actually is (physics), what waves are, the types of waves, etc.
So it might be interesting to add a few intro chapters on that.

Thanks for the suggestion Geert. This has been an idea we've considered in the past. But one of the core ideas in Syntorial is a dedicated focus on ear training and hands on programming. And while the physics and science behind synthesis is fascinating, it shifts the focus away from that and into a more academic and abstract domain.
One idea we've toyed around with is possibly having an optional supplement that covers this angle. But it's one item on a big list.
