Patch Request: - Bass Clarinet

Patch / Preset Recreated

Check out :58 of this song. In a couple seconds, you should hear what I’m pretty sure is a bass clarinet.

Any idea how to program this and actually get close? I usually like to provide a sample patch to show I’m not being lazy but I’m really stumped on this one after hours of trying.

Any tips on how to program this? I get a really synthetic (i.e., corny) sound without the breath and richness/depth of the bass clarinet. The noise oscillator for the breath sounds like crumpled paper haha.

Any help would be appreciated. I have Serum, Massive, and Sylenth1.

Attached above is my latest attempt at a patch on Serum. I don't think it sounds terrible in the lower registers (though it could be improved) but it's def more cheesy in the higher registers.

Also, when you compare to a real bass clarinet, I feel defeated haha
