Play Primer Synth While Using Diva (On Your Own)

I don't know if this is the right Forum for that question but its the only one so I'm asking It here I guess.

I'm just getting started with Syntorial, did Building Block 1 before.

My question regards the On your own lessons.
To rebuild a Patch I'm using my MIDI Keyboard and Diva, so the apparent problem is if I'm pressing a Key both Synths play.
Until now a solution didn't come to my mind, so maybe there's a workaround I'm not aware of ?

I would also do these lessons if there would be a possibility to switch inside of primer between two patches (The preset one and a blank to recreate)
But unfortunately the On your own lessons seem a bit impracticable if there isn't a workaround, I would love to do them somehow.
