Patches: On-Your-Own or Serum Lesson pack?

Hi there,

I'm taking the Syntorial as a means of getting equally fluent with my 9 preferred synths (3 software, 6 hardware). One of my soft synths of choice is Serum, and I've installed the Serum Lesson pack.

I've been using the Serum Lesson pack as the presets I'm trying to emulate with my various synths (instead of the On-Your-Own presets). I'm wondering, though, as a whole, would it maybe be better to use the On-Your-Own presets for this? What's the overall difference? Does the Serum preset pack cover the same ground as the On-Your-Own preset pack? I've flipped through, and it seems like a similar-but-different collection.

If the Serum pack is meant to Serum-specific by design, I'm thinking I should switch to the On-Your-Own pack.

Thanks in advance!
Kristjan
