im trying to redesign the bass synth in this song, using serum anybody have any idea?
i get pretty close but it sounds layered, maybe?

Try this:
Oscillator: Saw
Filter: Low Pass, 24 dB, a lot of Res, and then turn the Cutoff knob way down until you get a nice round bottom-heavy bass (the Res will really accentuate that low Cutoff point to create a big bottom end). Then modulate the Cutoff with...
Filter Envelope: Zero Sustain, and a long Decay/Release around 1 second. A lot of Mod Amount. Turn it up until you get the slow "meow" with every note
Amp Envelope: Give it a little Release, around 100ms, so it doesn't cut off too abruptly.
Voices: Mono
Chorus: 50/50 Mix, medium Rate, and medium Depth. You're going for a nice spread with subtle movement.
