Mind's Ear 5: Hi-Hat 16ths

Gathering votes

For this Mind's Ear exercise:
https://learn.audiblegenius.com/course/bb1/section_3/minds_ear_5/earned
How come the track is 8ths not 16ths? And when I go to DAW panel on the right I don't see options to change to 16ths. I have gone through 1 take already and take 2 is the same - just 8ths no 16ths.

Hi Leonard.

Sorry for the confusion. We're getting 16ths on our end so we'd need a little more info. Would you mind doing the following:

  1. Launch the exercise
  2. Do the first rhythm and submit your answer
  3. Switch to the hidden side
  4. Take a screenshot and upload it here

Hi Joe,
Here is the screen shot of the hidden view after I submit.

For context, I logged on a different computer and the problem persists (so I've covered both Windows and Mac), and the previous 16ths Challenge worked fine with 16ths as expected.

@Leonard Shen: Thanks for the screenshot. That screenshot shows that the grid is divided into 16ths. One beat contains four 16ths. If you look at the top of the grid you'll see orange rectangles that each represent a beat, and within each beat you'll see four divisions (16ths). Does that make sense?

@Joe: Oh! I somehow thought that there are 2 measures (8 beats) in there but there is actually only 1 measure. Ok thanks lol silly me.
