Import the 'on your own' patches into a DAW

Solved

Is there a way to import the 'on your own' patches into a daw?

On section 2 of On Your Own and attempted to create Rounded Saw in Ableton Live 11. Mostly failed and welcome some advice.

I tried the instruments Operator, Analog, and Drift. I generally set the cutoff and ADSR much like the settings on syntorial. The syntorial sound is much fuller, moving towards to a tuba fullness. Ableton does not have that and is thin.

Welcome suggestions.

Hi Jon

Thanks for your timely response.

My bad. I have been thoroughly involved in the Syntorial lessons that I ignored the contents offered in the β€˜help’ section of the software. On watching the standalone synth and Primer video, I realised the answer has always been there.

Next step is to install Primer into my DAW.

Thanks once again, and keep up the good work.

Hi Colin. They should show up automatically in the VST/AU version of Syntorial's synth, known as Primer. Few questions:

  1. Have you installed Primer? If not, log into your online account and go to Downloads
  2. When you open Primer in your DAW, open the presets dropdown at the bottom, and you should see the "On Your Own" folder there.
