I think FM is the trickiest concept so far to apply to other synths. I'm not sure I really understand how FM is working so need to do some furthe research.
Does anyone have any guidance for how to use FM in Odin synth and/or Surge XT (these are two of several synths I've been trying with the OYO challenges)? For example attached are the patch files showing how I've tried to recreate the OYO #22 'Bass FM' patch in Odin and Surge. They don't sound at all like the patch and the user guides for the synths haven't illuminated much. Any guidance appreciated.
