Envelope Release Time When Releasing Early

So as Joe mentions in Chapter 7, Group 6 video, the synth releases the sound at the volume level it's currently at.
But what about release time – will it be a % of the max volume or will it
For example, if release time is 500 ms and I release the key at the 30% volume level, would the releasing take 500 ms or 150 ms?

Sorry for the very late reply. Release time would take 500 ms. It will always take its set time. Only the level (in this case volume) will change depending on when you let the key go.
