I had a few suggestions for discussion:
I was wondering if perhaps it could be possible to consider the following:
Each syntorial module has a song reference to help solidify the patch understanding in a song context
Gives a small 8 bar loop challenge to practice implementing this patch into a song
A list of the most commonly used sounds with examples (pluck, bass, lead, string, pad etc.) and maybe 3 variations of each per genre?
build a database sound selection (patch selection) per genre?
This may be my beginner brain talking and these are things producer/artists naturally do to find their sound... but given i've come to syntorial to improve my sound design perhaps a database of must know foundational patches basics, intermediate, alchemist could be a future tool?
(This may just naturally occur on completion of the course - but I do find myself feeling burned out on syntorial or not 100% sure when I take it to a song context, despite being able to get 3 stars from matching).
Food for thought 😀
Cheers

Great suggestions! I've been messing around with some genre-oriented ideas lately. Like patches and accompanying tutorials that are focused on common sounds in synth-heavy genres.
