Bass Station 2 settings to get close to Primer

Open

Hi,
I try to do On Your Own lessons using both TAL NoiseMaker and a Novation BassStation2 and for the first one I found a post on this forum where people found the settings that need to be changed to have something close to Primer and it works great.

I wonder if anyone knows the biggest changes needed for the Bass Station 2 to achieve the same result?

I always have a more buzzier sound no matter what I do with the Resonance and Cutoff knobs...

Thanks in advance!

Try setting the Slop switch to 24dB. Primer's is 24dB, which creates a more dramatic cut, whereas 12 dB let's a little more top end in which would explain the buzziness.

Thanks a lot for your reply! I did that already but still have some buzzy noise that I don't have on Primer.
Could this just be a difference between 2 different synths (I also get an overall more buzzy output from TAL than primer despite transposing one octave up as I found recommended on another thread) or should I normally be able to get approximately the same sound out of any synth with practice?

@Sylvain: Yes, there will usually be some differences mostly due to the filter and sometimes the waveforms (depending on if it's modeling analog waveforms or not). If you post a couple audio clips and settings I can take a look.
